Andrea De Cesaris (ITA) Formula One World Championship 1985. Ex-Formula One driver Andrea de Cesaris has been killed in a motorbike accident in his native Rome, aged 55. De Cesaris made over 200 Grand Prix starts between 1980 and 1994 in an F1 career which included spells with teams including McLaren, Ligier, Minardi, Jordan, Tyrrell and Sauber.
The popular Italian scored points for nine of the 10 teams he raced for and made a total of five podium appearances
