Lauda backs the FIA's handling of the Japanese GP

+ Former F1 racer Niki Lauda has backed the FIA’s handling of the Japanese Grand Prix, despite Jules Bianchi’s late accident that saw the race brought to a premature conclusion. Bianchi spun off at Turn 7 on lap 44 of Sunday’s race, colliding with a recovery vehicle that was attending to Adrian Sutil’s Sauber, after the German had crashed at the same corner on the previous lap. The Frenchman suffered severe head injuries in the accident and is currently undergoing surgery at a Japanese hospital, close to the Suzuka circuit.
