Hamilton wins shortened Japanese Grand Prix after Bianchi incident

dir="ltr" style="line-height:1.15;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;">   October 5th, 2014 (F1Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Lewis Hamilton won a shortened Japanese Grand Prix which was red flagged following an incident involving Jules Bianchi. Bianchi hit a recovery vehicle which was removing Adrian Sutil’s Sauber from the track at the Dunlop Curve. The FIA confirmed that the Frenchman was unconscious and had been taken to hospital via ambulance. Following days of weather warnings, the race began on time under the safety car due to heavy rain but was red flagged after two laps due to the severe rain.
