Rosberg takes pole ahead of Hamilton in Japan

Rosberg took provisional pole at the start of the session and improved on his time on his final run. This is the German driver’s eighth pole position of the year. Teammate Lewis Hamilton missed out on pole position by 0.197 seconds. During the post-qualifying press conference, when asked about the session, the Briton said he "I wasn't feeling it today."
