Vettel to leave Red Bull, Kvyat joins Ricciardo

Red Bull/Getty Images Red Bull has announced that Sebastian Vettel will leave the squad at the end of the season. The four-times world champion has been with the team since 2009 but will depart following the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, where he is set to switch to Ferrari, in place of McLaren-bound Fernando Alonso. Red Bull will replace Vettel with Toro Rosso youngster Daniil Kvyat. "It is a big step and hard to make such a decision," Vettel said.
