Verstappen 'not even close to the limit'

– Max Verstappen says he was "not even close to the limit" on his debut Formula 1 practice appearance at the Japanese Grand Prix.The 17-year-old, who will become the youngest driver in the sport's history when he replaces Jean-Éric Vergne at Toro Rosso next season, completed 22 laps and set the 12th fastest time, four tenths back on regular driver Daniil Kvyat, during Friday's first session at Suzuka.Having only tested older Formula 1 machinery, Verstappen – who lost the final 10 minutes of the session due to an engine failure – says his priority was to complete as much mileage as possible."I was not even close to the limit.
