Hamilton heads Rosberg in second session

Championship leader Lewis Hamilton set the quickest time during the second practice session for the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka.
Hamilton’s time of 1:35.078 was 0.240s clear of Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg on the Option compound tyre.
Neither Mercedes driver enjoyed completely clean running as Hamilton saved a lurid moment as he exited the second Denger corner while Rosberg locked up a couple of times into the Casio Triangle and had to run deep.
Valtteri Bottas set the third fastest time for Williams but was over a second down on pacesetter Rosberg, with Jenson Button fourth and Sebastian Vettel the quickest non-Mercedes racer in fifth.
