Verstappen impressive in history making F1 debut

Max Verstappen made his F1 debut during FP1 at Suzuka Dutch teenager Max Verstappen became the youngest driver to take part in a Formula 1 weekend when he drove a Toro Rosso in Friday morning's opening practice session at the Japanese Grand Prix, and impressed mightily in the process. At the end of the ninety minutes session at Suzuka, acknowledged as one of the most daunting and challenging race tracks, Verstappen was 12th on the timing screens and had completed 22 trouble free laps, until his Renault engine failed late in the 90 minutes session.
