Vettel aiming to be 'smart' over penalties

Red Bull/Getty Images Sebastian Vettel says he will need to be 'smart' with engine penalties if he is to minimise the damage a grid drop will inflict on one of his remaining five race weekends. Vettel is one of a handful of drivers just one component change away from copping a 10 place grid drop, a fate which has already befallen Toro Rosso racer Daniil Kvyat. While admitting that a grid drop is inevitable before the end of 2014, Vettel is sure Red Bull can be tactical and limit the damage to his race prospects.
