McLaren confirms cause of Magnussen's Singapore issue

McLaren has confirmed that a broken radiator seal caused Kevin Magnussen's cockpit to overheat during last weekend's Singapore Grand Prix. The Danish rookie had to battle with the problem as well as boiling water in his drinks system during the 60-lap event at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. Despite the issue, the 2013 Formula Renault 3.5 champion took the chequered flag just inside the points in 10th place. The cause was initially unclear, but McLaren has now discovered why Magnussen's cockpit overheated. After the race it was reported that he was treated for burns at the circuit medical centre, but he denied this in a tweet shortly after. 'It is already fixed, so it will never happen...
