World Karting success for Michael Schumacher s son

Michael Schumacher's 15-year-old son Mick could be primed to follow in his esteemed father's wheeltracks after being crowned World Karting Vice-Champion in France this weekend. Competing under the moniker Mick Junior (having previously adopted the surname Betsch - maiden name of his mother Corinna), the youngster finished second to British teenager Enaam Ahmed in the KF-Junior category in Essay, France. Mick's success – which included wins in four of his heats - comes as his seven-time F1 World Championship winning father continues his long road to recovery from head and brain injuries sustained in a skiing accident in December.
