Mercedes: We don't want the title decided by car failure

Nico Rosberg pushed off the grid in Singapore In the aftermath of a bittersweet Singapore Grand Prix, Mercedes have pledged it will do all it can to prevent poor reliability deciding the destiny of this year's drivers' world championship. The pledge came after a broken wiring loom forced Nico Rosberg to retire from the race at Marina Bay Circuit which was won by his title rival and team-mate Lewis Hamilton. The Briton's win enabled him to leap three points clear of Rosberg in the championship with five races remaining.
