Russian Grand Prix circuit officially opened

– The Sochi Autodrom, location for the inaugural Russian Grand Prix, was officially opened on Saturday.Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and Dmitry Kozak, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, were among the leading figures to attend the event, along with Vitaly Petrov, the country's first Formula 1 driver.The 18-corner, 5.853-kilometre circuit, which is located within Sochi's Olympic Park, had already delivered its first race meeting, playing host to a round of the Russian Touring Car Championship (RTCC) earlier this month."I am glad to report that the first ever Formula 1 race track in Russia has now officially opened and very soon our country will host the...
