Force India's highest points ever gets it past McLaren

Force India recorded its highest ever points tally in a season after what team principal Vijay Mallya described as a 'fantastic result' at the Singapore Grand Prix on Sunday. The performance propelled Force India to fifth in the constructors' championship, six points ahead of McLaren, which held the advantage by a solitary point ahead of the weekend. Sergio Perez started 15th but managed to finish seventh despite a collision with Sauber's Adrian Sutil while teammate Nico Hulkenberg finished ninth.
