Vergne delighted to match career best finish after feisty drive
+ Jean-Eric Vergne was delighted after equalling his best ever career finish in Formula 1 with a battling drive to sixth in the Singapore Grand Prix.
Vergne, who started 12th on the grid after an error in qualifying on Saturday, came home sixth after a late charge through the field, passing both Kimi Raikkonen and Valtteri Bottas during the closing stages of the race.
This was despite picking up two five second stop/go penalties for exceeding the track limits, the second of which was added to his total time after the race.
