Alonso rues Safety Car timing

Scuderia Ferrari Fernando Alonso was left to rue the timing of the Safety Car period during the Singapore Grand Prix. Alonso was running in second place on Option tyres when the race was neutralised following a collision between Sergio Perez and Adrian Sutil. Alonso stopped for fresh Prime tyres and dropped to fourth place and was consequently unable to pass either Red Bull driver and finished just behind Daniel Ricciardo.
