Hamilton tops second practice in Singapore

+ Lewis Hamilton set the pace during second practice for the Singapore Grand Prix. The Englishman jumped to the top of the time sheets on his super-soft tyre run with a lap of 1:47.490, a tenth of a second clear of Fernando Alonso, fastest for Ferrari in opening practice, in second, while Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo was third. Kimi Raikkonen was fourth in the second Ferrari, six tenths down on Hamilton’s fastest time and just a hundredth clear of Sebastian Vettel, who spent most of the 90-minute long session confined to the garage following his engine failure in the dying stages of opening practice.
