Kobayashi keeps Caterham drive in Singapore

Getty Images Enlarge Kamui Kobayashi will retain his Caterham drive at the Singapore Grand Prix this weekend alongside Marcus Ericsson. Kobayashi's seat has been in doubt since the team changed hands and Andre Lotterer was brought in to replace him at the Belgian Grand Prix. Kobayashi was back in the car at the Italian Grand Prix but Renault 3.5 driver Roberto Merhi took part in FP1 with an eye to racing later in the year. However, on Wednesday the team confirmed Kobayashi would drive this weekend.
