Lowe: Mercedes aiming for drama-free race in Singapore

September 14th 2014 (F1Plus / Rosie Baillie) - Paddy Lowe says Mercedes are targeting a clean, drama-free race in Singapore. Lowe, the team’s executive director (technical), warned that the Singapore Grand Prix is a difficult one to manage and hopes the team can avoid any incidents. “The demands on the car are still very high in terms of braking, steering and also the engine,” Lowe said. “It’s also a long race – often running to the full two hour limit and frequently characterised by safety cars. “It’s a tricky one to manage no matter what position you might be in, with...
