Wolff calls for 'further clarification' over team radio crackdown

+ Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff has called for clarification over Formula 1’s new team radio rules. Teams will be banned from providing car or driver performance information via pit-to-car radio as of the Singapore Grand Prix, in an effort to ramp up the challenge of driving a grand prix car and dispel the notion that drivers are ‘puppets’. Any team found to provide the above information during the race in Singapore will be held in breach of Article 20.1 of the Formula 1 2014 Sporting Regulations which states: “The driver must drive the car alone and unaided.” While the FIA has confirmed that teams will still be allowed to tell their drivers when to pit, as well as give team...
