FIA confirms 20-race F1 calendar for 2015 season
Formula One’s governing body, the FIA, has approved a 20-race calendar for 2015, matching the record number of Grands Prix that featured in a season in 2012, following a meeting of its World Motor Sport Council in Beijing on Thursday. The season will begin in Australia on March 15 and end in Abu Dhabi on November 29, with four back-to-back races. Singapore has lost its stand-alone status and has been twinned with Japan in late September while Mexico, making its return to Formula One, follows the United States Grand Prix in Austin. The Mexican GP, last held in 1992, will be raced in the country's capital in Mexico City at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez circuit. Here's what the...
