Sirotkin and Verstappen set for FP1 sessions this year

In the wake of Max Verstappen's F1 test debut at Adria this week, it has emerged that fellow t een Sergey Sirotkin will make his Formula 1 weekend debut in his native Russia next month.
Recently, it was believed financially struggling Sauber's so-called Russian rescue deal had essentially collapsed, casting doubt on the future of 19-year-old tester Sirotkin.
But just weeks ago, the Formula Renault 3.5 series frontrunner was still hopeful he would drive Sauber's car on the Friday morning of the first ever Formula 1 race at Sochi.
'With the test in Bahrain I got the (super) license so it is very possible that I will drive at Sochi on Friday,' he had said.
