Lotus admits E22 design error

Lotus F1 Team Lotus team principal Gerard Lopez has conceded that his squad made a design mistake with the E22, with the Enstone-based outfit enduring a woeful 2014 campaign. Lotus has been a frontrunner in recent seasons but this year Romain Grosjean has scored just eight points, with Pastor Maldonado yet to finish in the top 10. The E22 is the only car on the grid to feature a twin-tusk approach and Lopez concedes that Lotus made an error in their design this year.
