Alonso 'could not have done better'

Scuderia Ferrari Fernando Alonso insists he could not have done a better job after he qualified in seventh position for Ferrari's home race at Monza. Alonso, who has never finished off of the podium when driving for Ferrari at Monza, was the best non-Mercedes runner at the Italian circuit and says he extracted the maximum from the F14T. "We knew that, as usual in qualifying, it would be tough and that the encouraging signs we saw in free practice should not create false expectations," he said.
