Kvyat takes 10-place grid penalty after exceeding engine component limit

+ Daniil Kvyat will take a 10-place grid penalty for the Italian Grand Prix after exceeding his power unit limit.  Kvyat becomes the first driver this season to exceed his limit of five different power unit components, in this case the internal combustion engine, a limit imposed under the 2014 engine regulations. Toro Rosso were forced to switch the ICE on Kvyat’s car on Friday night, the sixth different component used since the start of the season. The Faenza-based team had to also change the Russian’s motor generator unit-heat  – MGU-H, his third of the year.
