Grosjean: Alonso the key to the driver market
– Romain Grosjean has described Fernando Alonso as "the key to the driver market" this year, explaining that he is waiting on the Ferrari driver to clarify his plans before committing his own future to a team.Alonso, contracted to Ferrari until the end of the 2016 season, has entered discussions over a fresh deal with the Maranello-based outfit, in the wake of recent speculation linking the Spaniard to former team McLaren.Grosjean says he has been holding off re-signing with Lotus to assess potential options elsewhere."You have to wait for Ferrari and Alonso and by then the market will have moved," Grosjean told the gathered media at Monza.
