Lotterer Turned Down Caterham F1 Drive In Italy

According to reports in a Spanish newspaper Andre Lotterer has turned down the opportunity to drive for Caterham at the upcoming Italian Grand Prix after it was announced that Roberto Merhi would be driving for the team in first practice. Lotterer impressed many in Belgium before bad luck put him out of the race on lap one, and was due to return to driving duties but chose not to following an announcement by team principal Colin Kolles would be placing Merhi in the car for FP1 - something that Lotterer hadn't agreed on.
