Hamilton named GQ's Sportsman of the Year

Getty Images Enlarge Lewis Hamilton was able to put the recent turbulance from his title fight with Nico Rosberg to one side on Tuesday after being named GQ's Sportsman of the Year for 2014. Hamilton is second in the world championship - trailing team-mate Nico Rosberg by 29 points - but picked up the men's style and fashion magazine's top prize at a star-studded event in London. Among the pictures posted to his Instagram account from the evening was a list of famous names he shared a table with at the Royal Opera House event - including Kanye West, Jonah Hill, Pharrel Williams, Kim Kardashian and girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger.
