Haas tweaks name ahead of 2016 debut

Gene Haas has tweaked the name of his eponymous team ahead of its planned debut in 2016. The American founder had originally planned to call his squad Haas Formula, but he announced on Tuesday that it will instead be known as 'Haas F1 Team'. "Haas F1 Team automatically conveys our place among the pinnacle of motorsports," said Haas. "When you hear ‘F1’ you know exactly what it is – a global racing series that showcases the latest technology and attracts the best talent in engineering and design." Haas also launched an official website, as well as Facebook and Twitter pages.
