Top teams welcome Bernie back

Red Bull and Mercedes welcomed the return of Bernie Ecclestone to the paddock after the Formula One supremo's legal battle came to an end in Germany. Ecclestone was only a peripheral figure in F1 since April this year, when his bribery trial started in the Munich High Court. The 83-year-old earlier this month agreed to make a payment of $100 million (£59 million) in order to bring the matter to an end, even though said payment meant he was found neither innocent nor guilty.
