Former Caterham F1 staff start legal proceedings
38 former Caterham staff have started legal proceedings against the F1 team's new owners, claiming unlawful dismissal. Having signalled their intention to take legal action earlier in the summer, the staff have issued employment Tribunal Proceedings, with a statement issued on their behalf also rejecting a claim from Caterham that the staff had received payment from the team for a period of July. “38 former staff have today issued employment Tribunal Proceedings against Caterham in light of its failure to settle claims following their unlawful axing by new owners back in July,” the statement read. “Due to the amount of money involved in the claims made, further High Court Proceedings...
