'If I have to retire then so be it' - Button

Getty Images Enlarge Jenson Button is contemplating the prospect of retiring from Formula One at the end of the season, but is determined to do everything he can to stay in the sport if possible. Button's future is unclear as McLaren bosses Ron Dennis and Eric Boullier decide whether he has a place in their long-term driver plan. Fernando Alonso is believed to be a target of the team, but is currently contracted to Ferrari, which is adamant he will stay.
