Mattiacci wants engine rules relaxed

Scuderia Ferrari Ferrari team principal Marco Mattiacci says he would like to see Formula 1's engine regulations relaxed during a season. Engines are currently homologated prior to the start of a season, with tweaks only permitted for reliability or safety reasons. The same rules will apply for the 2015 season and this is something which Mattiacci would like to see changed. "Yes, in a certain way - not as rigid as it is today," he is quoted by N when asked if he'd like the regulations eased. "I would like a certain amount of opportunities a year to work on the engine."
