McLaren happy to have fought entire race

McLaren's Jenson Button and Kevin Magnussen were in fighting positions throughout the race, keeping the cars ahead under constant pressure. Jenson Button finished 6th in the end while Kevin Magnussen was 12th following a 20s penalty that stripped him of a points scoring finish. Jenson Button, MP4-29-01, 6th: “We played the long game today – most people were making their pit-stops early – and I felt I kept the tyres in good condition.
