Magnussen loses points after Alonso incident penalty

McLaren’s Kevin Magnussen has been handed a 20-second post-race time penalty by the stewards in Belgium for forcing Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso off the road during the closing stages of Sunday’s Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps.The incident occurred on the penultimate lap of the 44-lap contest as Magnussen, trying to defend fifth place from Alonso on the approach to Les Combes, edged the Spaniard onto the grass.
