Magnussen loses points for Alonso move

McLaren Mercedes Kevin Magnussen has been handed a 20 second penalty after he forced Fernando Alonso off the track during the closing stages of the Belgian Grand Prix. Magnussen and Alonso were embroiled in a furious scrap for fifth place at the end of the race, with Magnussen edging Alonso onto the grass along the Kemmel Straight. 'The driver of car 20 [Magnussen] was defending his position on the straight between turn 4 and 5, a significant portion of car 14 [Alonso] was alongside car 20,' read the stewards' report.
