'Flat out' Perez happy with ninth

Sahara Force India Sergio Perez says he drove 'flat out' to record a ninth place finish during Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix at Spa Francorchamps. Perez started the race from 13th position and executed a two stop strategy to hold off Daniil Kvyat during the closing stages of the race as he netted ninth - his first ever points at the Belgian track. "Somehow I avoided all the crazy battles that took place today because my race was quite straightforward," he said. "I went flat out and I think we achieved the most that was possible from the race.
