Massa laments costly brake issues and traffic

Sutton Images Enlarge Felipe Massa believes a combination of a brake problem and poorly timed traffic in Q3 cost him the chance of a top six finish in qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix. Williams came into Belgium talking up its chances of a strong weekend at a Spa-Francorchamps circuit which appears to play to its strengths, but Valtteri Bottas and Massa could only manage sixth and ninth in qualifying. Massa thinks better was possible had he not run wide at the end of his fast lap, something he puts down to a number of poorly-timed factors.
