Bottas tops damp final practice for Williams

+ Valtteri Bottas topped a damp third and final practice session at Spa-Francorchamps ahead of qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix. The Finn snatched the top spot with a lap of 1:49.465 in the dying moments of what was for the most part a quiet session, with running limited in the opening half-hour owing to a brief rain storm ahead of practice. Daniel Ricciardo was second, a quarter of a second shy of the Williams man, while Nico Rosberg was third in the lead Mercedes car. Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen ended the session fourth, after he found himself stranded at the end of the pitlane after he missed a late chance to head back out on track, with the pitlane exit closed.
