Vergne: I'm too old for Toro Rosso
Jean-Eric Vergne concedes he is "too old" for Toro Rosso but insists his Formula 1 career is not over.
Earlier this week the Frenchman learned that his days at the team are numbered as his place is be going to 17-year-old Max Verstappen next season.
However, after three years with Toro Rosso, the 24-year-old admits he is now too old for Red Bull's junior team.
"I will always be thankful to Red Bull and Toro Rosso, they gave me the chance to continue. I didn't have the money before and I made my way with them up to Formula 1.
