Verstappen confirmed at Toro Rosso for 2015
Max Verstappen, son of ex-F1 driver Jos, has been confirmed as a Toro Rosso driver for the 2015 Formula 1 season.
The Dutch youngster is currently racing in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. It is his first season competing in single seaters and he sits second in the standings with two race weekends remaining.
It has now been confirmed on Red Bull-owned Servus TV that Verstappen will step up to Formula 1 next season. He joined the Red Bull Junior Team last week, joining Carlos Sainz Jr, Pierre Gasly and Alex Lynn.
