Maldonado believes points are coming

Pastor Maldonado is confident Lotus' woes are behind them and he expects a strong finish to this year's Championship. Hampered by a decision to miss the first pre-season test, issues with their Renault engine and a generally under-performing car, Lotus have failed to match last season's form. Instead of battling for podium finishes, the team is scrapping just to get close to the top-ten. Lotus have only bagged eight points this season, none of which have come from Maldonado. The Venezuelan driver, though, is expecting better than Formula 1 returns next weekend with the Belgian GP. "It has been a very hard season and one in which there have been lots of issues," he admitted....
