Wolff praises new-look Formula 1

– Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has praised Formula 1's new era after the opening half of the 2014 season.As part of a regulation overhaul, turbocharged 1.6-litre V6 power units have been introduced alongside increased energy recovery and restrictions on the amount of fuel that can be used during each race.Whilst some have criticised the changes, most notably the reduced sound levels, Wolff reckons the sport currently offers plenty of excitement, claiming that it is much more entertaining than previous periods."I watched the final race of the 1984 championship in Portugal recently, and I came into it one third of the way through.
