Vergne completes Assen Formula 1 demo
– Jean-Éric Vergne completed his planned Formula 1 demo on the streets of Assen on Thursday evening.The Toro Rosso driver took to the wheel of Red Bull's RB8 chassis, used by Sebastian Vettel en route to the 2012 world title, in a special preview to the Gamma Racing Day, which takes place at the TT Circuit on Sunday.Around 22,000 fans lined the pavements as Vergne carried out straight line runs, donuts and burnouts."I came here not knowing how to do donuts but I had to learn because this place is so narrow!"
