Renault: ‘We have raised our game’

Renault head of trackside operations Remi Taffin says the power unit manufacturer has stepped up a level in the last few races. Daniel Ricciardo won the Hungarian Grand Prix for Red Bull on Sunday, with his second win of the year after Canada meaning a Renault-powered car has won two of the last five races. Taffin admitted the wet start to the race allied with a circuit that is much less power-dependant had helped Ricciardo's cause, but says Renault still deserves praise for the job it has done. “The conditions gave us a thriller from start to finish.
