Hamilton wins Mercedes battle in FP2
HUNGARORING, July 25, 2014 (F1plus/Katie Grimmett).- Lewis Hamilton can claim the bragging rights going into qualifying tomorrow after topping time sheets during second practice at the Hungaroring this afternoon. Hamilton and his team mate Rosberg maintained their FP1 pace with the 2008 champion getting the better off this year’s title leader. The dominant Mercedes duo produced commanding lap times on the soft tyre compound. Despite Rosberg complaining of engine damage, the championship contenders were separated by just two tenths-of -a-second at the close of Friday running.
