Hamilton stays on top in second practice

Mercedes AMG Petronas Lewis Hamilton ended Friday practice on top after setting the quickest time during the second session for this weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix. Hamilton edged out Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg during the Prime tyre runs early on in the session and maintained his advantage when the field conducted low fuel runs on Option tyres. Rosberg held the upper hand after Hamilton locked up and went wide on his first run on Options, but the Brit knocked Rosberg off the top of the times on his second lap, before marginally improving further on his third hot lap.
