Rossi joins Marussia as reserve driver

Alexander Rossi has been announced as the Marussia F1 Team's reserve driver for the remainder of the 2014 season. The American driver parted company with the Caterham F1 and GP2 outfits just prior to last weekend's German Grand Prix, but has now been picked up by rivals Marussia. He competed at the Hockenheimring last weekend in the GP2 series, in place of Kimiya Sato at Campos Racing. He retired from race one but climbing from 25th to seventh in the second race.
