Pirelli announces tyre compounds for next three races

Pirelli has announced the tyre compound nominations for the next three races in Belgium, Italy and Singapore. The Italian supplier will take the white-marked medium and soft-banded compounds to the Spa-Francorchamps circuit for the Belgian Grand Prix. Meanwhile the two hardest compounds, the orange-marked hard and the medium compounds, will be taken to the Italian Grand Prix. This is to combat the high-energy loads put through the tyres due to the high traction and braking demands at the Monza circuit, as well as the warm temperatures.
