Wolff eager to extend Hamilton deal

Mercedes AMG Petronas Mercedes Motorsport boss Toto Wolff says preliminary talks have begun with Lewis Hamilton over a new long-term contract. Hamilton joined Mercedes at the start of 2013 and still has 18 months left on his current deal. Team-mate Nico Rosberg, whose contract was set to expire at the end of 2014, signed a new multi-year deal last week, which is set to tie him to Mercedes until the end of 2016. Wolff confirmed that he is now keen to see the current driver pairing retained for several more years.
